These terms cover the passrpl referral scheme, under which an existing client can earn a reward for referring someone else who buys a qualifying product. They apply alongside our Terms of Service.
Getting a code
Every customer gets a referral code to share. Buying anything from us - the exam prep course, the MCS OBC Assessment guide, or a consultation - gives you your own.
What a code earns
Rewards apply to consultations only. When someone other than you pays for a Premium Consultation or a Tailored Consultation using your code, you earn a £10 Amazon gift card and they get £10 off.
Nothing is earned and nothing is discounted when a code is used against the exam prep course or the MCS OBC Assessment guide. You keep your code either way.
What the person using your code gets
£10 off their consultation. On a Premium Consultation the reduction is applied at checkout, before payment. On a Tailored Consultation, which is quoted individually rather than bought from the site, it is applied to the quote - tell us the code when you enquire.
One code per purchase, and a reduction cannot be applied after payment has been taken. If a purchase carrying a code is refunded, the reduced amount is what is refunded.
The reward is per qualifying payment, not per person. If someone you referred comes back and buys another consultation, you earn another £10 for that purchase too. If they use a different code the second time, that other person earns it instead of you. There is no limit on how many times you can earn a reward.
How and when you're paid
Every referral is checked by hand before it is approved - there is no automatic approval and we do not commit to any timeframe for review or payment. Once approved, your reward is sent as an Amazon gift card by email.
Refunds and abuse
If a qualifying purchase is refunded, the reward it would have earned is void. If you are the one who is refunded, we may withdraw your own referral code so it stops earning further rewards.
You cannot earn a reward by referring yourself - a code cannot be used against the account or email address that owns it, and no reward is paid on a self-referral.
We may withdraw a referral code at any time if we reasonably believe it is being used abusively or fraudulently.
